Palette love: Too Faced Chocolate Bar

2 comments:

It's no secret I'm a make up junkie.. So, oops I did it again.. I placed a little order on sephora.fr recently and one of the thing I got was this yummy looking palette. After hearing a lot of buzz about this Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and actually leaving it behind on my trip to New York last April -  even though it smelled delicious and I didn't want to leave it.. - I finally caved and ordered it online. And boy do I regret not getting it sooner when I had the chance..

The first thing that hits you when you open the palette is the delicious smell of chocolate that almost makes you want to eat the palette right then and there. I would advice you not to though, cause the eye shadows aren't exactly edible but look gorgeous blended all over your lovely eye balls.

A little update

No comments:
It's been 9 days since I last posted, but there's more to come soon!
I've been having trouble finding the time to write out blog posts while I'm studying and taking my exams.. But I haven't forgotten about all of you so I'll be back soon when I find the time to write out some blog posts ahead of time, so they can go up when I'm actually hittin' the books.

My May favorites will be coming soon as well as reviews of some products I've been really putting to the test lately. Read face masks, more skincare and of course makeup.
In the future, I might start throwing in some outfit posts as well, if you guys would be interested in that as well.

See ya soon!

Lots of love.

IMATS New York 2014

No comments:
A couple of weeks ago I was in New York citytrippin' with my best friend. Being the makeup addict that we are, a quick stop at the International Make-up Artist Trade Show was kind of a given. We were lucky enough to be in New York when IMATS was happening so off we went on Saturday.
I was really looking forward to this convention because of all the amazing brands we can't get in Belgium and the awesome discounts. Plus I knew some of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus were going to be there! I didn't actually meet any of them though. We didn't even see them - but they were there. I knew the convention would be really crowded but man was that an unpleasant feeling. You had place to walk around but when it came to actually checking out the products of the different booths you needed an armor to keep people from pushing you away.

Late UK Haul

No comments:

Some time ago, I went to Brighton and London with my family and did some damage on the 'high street'. I didn't bring home as much as I did from New York but I thought I would share it with you all nonetheless.

Charles Worthington Salon at home Volume and Bounce Texturising Spray
After hearing so many British YouTubers say that this is the high street dupe of the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray I had to try this out. My hair naturally falls flat if I don't do anything special to it so I'm always on the hunt for the next best volumizing product on the market. These were on offer at the time so I took home 2 for £8. So far I'm loving it!

NYC made me do it: Beauty Haul: PART THREE

No comments:

Last but not least, all the way from New York, the final bit of beauty things I picked up when I was there. The first store we went to when we arrived had to be Sephora. There was no other way. I couldn't decide which make-up products I wanted right then and there so I started off with skincare. Cause I knew which products I wanted to try as far as skincare goes. The make up came along later.

First Aid Beauty 'Daily Face Cream' and 'Deep Cleanser with red clay'
This skincare brand had come up on my radar several times before and this time I couldn't resist trying some products. I was in need of a new moisturizer cause my skincare routine has been lacking one for quite some time now, so I picked up the 'Daily Face Cream'. It's lightweight and oil-free, perfect for my oily/combo skin. I'm also almost out of my current cleanser (from Kiehls) so I decided to try the FAB one with Red Clay. It's a foaming gel cleanser and the red clay is supposed to me really good for removing excess oil, uncloging pores and purifying the skin. So far I really like both.

Fashion: Topshop Haul

No comments:
Since A LOT of beauty hauling has been going on here on Eausobeauty, I thought I would switch things up a bit and throw in a little fashion inspiration as well. The rest if my New York City haul will be up next, followed by the things I picked up when I was in Brighton and London.
White Crop Top - High waisted skirt
First up is this gorgeous skirt. This is the first thing my eyes saw when walking in the store and I knew right then and there that I had found my new favorite skirt for summer. It's a pretty pinky red high waisted skirt with a beautiful floral print. To go along with that I also got the white crop top you see in the picture which has tiny little pompoms around the edge.
Loose short - White top
Next I spotted this beautiful top with flowers both on the front and the back. I would need to wear something underneath this because it's completely see-trough. Lastly from Topshop I found these flow-y shorts on my way to the fitting rooms. I loved every single piece I tried on so I took them all.

I also popped into Accessorize cause I've been on the for a good statement necklace for quite some time now and just couldn't quite find one I really liked. I guess luck was on my side when I was in London cause this beauty was winking at me from the window display and lured me into the store.
Accessorize Statement Necklace
Isn't she a beauty? These kind of necklaces are on the more expensive side - I'd rather spend my money on more makeup - but I just couldn't let this one go.

More beauty hauling coming soon, so stay tuned. Next up: Sephora Beauty Haul

Lots of love.

NYC made me do it: Beauty Haul: PART TWO

No comments:
Drugstore Beauty Haul - plus Inglot
Next up haulin': Drugstore beauty products. And some Inglot as well. For me there's no way I was going to leave New York without a visit - or four - to their drugstores. We went to Duane Reade, CVS and even Target. Because most of my money went to Sephora and other pricey stores, I managed to do a little damage here as well. Here we go:

Maybelline 'Baby Lips'
I already own some Baby Lips to begin with, but when I saw there is stores I just couldn't leave them. I picked up two from the black line - is that a thing? - and two limited edition shades on a third or even forth trip to the drugstore. The first two are 'OH! ORANGE!' and 'STRIKE A ROSE'. The two limited edition shades I have are 'BLUSH BURST' and 'ROSE RUSH'.

NYC made me do it: Beauty Haul: PART ONE

No comments:
Starting off the week that will be filled with hauling stuff, we should begin with mascara. Not one. Not two. But six. Now I don't use six different mascaras every time I do my make-up, so why do I need six? Well I didn't actually need six new mascaras - especially when I still have two untouched ones laying around at home, but that's my dirty little secret - but I just couldn't bring myself to leave them.. You see they have a lot more mascaras to choose from in the US are a hell of a lot cheaper than in Belgium as well.. There, totally justified them all right? Me thinks so too.
